On 7 October, members of the Alliance for Women’s Economic Empowerment participated in a roundtable discussion where they presented their suggestions for prioritizing support in response to the refugee crisis.

The event organized by the Gender Working Group chaired by UN Women and co-chaired by the Gender Equality Platform, in cooperation with the Refugee Crisis Response Coordination Forum, was attended by local women’s organizations. The event took place in the context of the development of the Response Plan to the refugee crisis for 2023 and was organized to create a dialogue with the women’s organizations involved in providing a response to the refugee crisis, drawing up the strategic objectives, sectoral priorities, and the needs of the organizations from a gender perspective.
